The best chocolate delights in Cape Town

I am so lucky to live in a foodie city. Especially Cape Town with its cosmopolitan styled mix of food and drink styles.

Focusing on chocolate and all the best places to find delicious chocolate delights.

Starting off with The Honest Chocolate Cafe. This beautiful and stylish spot in town creates so many different types of chocolate. From unique chocolates like the skulls, to brownies to even a sweet bunny chow.

This is the burger joint franchise in South Africa that has shown us the joys of decadence. Known for great burgers, ribs and fries. The shakes and this nutella waffles is so delicious.

I find that sharing helps.

THE wine estate of wine estates in Cape Town. I have only been once but I was in awe of all the beautiful elements on offer. From gardens to get lost in to quaint shops. It is on top of my list for anyone visiting or living in Cape Town.

I had this delicious chocolate souffle there. Delightful and I just love when a place uses beautiful plates. Eating is done with the eyes and boy what a feast.

Hazendal is another out of this world Cape Town wine estate. This estate is rich in history and Russian culture. You won't miss the stunning Russian touches all over the estate.

Can't wait to return to taste the epic Russian Tea tasting. A high tea experience fit for a princess or Russian Tzar.

Elegance and style is abundant here but it is the deli and all sweet treats sold there that had me in chocolate love.

We spent the most magical Mothers Day at Vredenheim many a year ago. They advertised a fab special which included a variety of different things.

The picnic was such a highlight. Everything was sooooo tasty, and presented in such a beautiful way, This brownie in a jar was truly something else. I have tasted many a brownie in my time. I think this was the best.

Last but not least...

Cafe Orca is a special seafood restaurant in Melkbos. We visit this beach area so often that we have tried most of the place in that area. We know them as a the best seafood gem in Cape Town.

But I will say their desserts are really good and this caramel ice cream bomb with decadent chocolate sauce was the perfect end to a meal there.

Do you agree?

Is there a place you know that serves out of this world dessert? Feel free to leave a comment below.
