Welcome to my world of food and drink adventures.

First of all thank you for taking some time to find out more about this new venture.

Becoming a blogger and content creator was something I have always dreamed about. Some how life always got in the way.  I dabbled in my own personal accounts. Always creating a collage to celebrate someones birthday, documenting travels, being the person who makes sure I take fun photos with friends or posting selfies on insta.

Covid-19 hit and the lockdown began in South Africa.

It felt like a sign.

​

I decided to do a course and expand my knowledge. Focusing on Instagram I was able to obtain new insights about a platform I knew a lot about. A very important aspect in the course was finding a niche. This was my first struggle. I am one of those people that has way too many interests and I want to share all of it. 

​

So join me as I share all my past foodie adventures. Showcase homemade food and attempts at baking. Highlighting all my favourite food and all the wonderful spots in and around Cape Town.

ABOUT NADIA

My fondest family memories are sitting as a family around a restaurant table and playing a game of cards. Food brings people together. It was the one thing I shared with so many special people in my life. Bonding over drinks with colleagues after a rough work day. Sipping that delicious coffee, admiring the beach views while waiting for breakfast to arrive. Or exploring somewhere new and falling in love with your surroundings.

Looking back at my 6 year cruise ship career working as a photographer. I was very blessed to make the most of the destinations I explored. Making sure to make an effort to eat in a variety of different spots around the world. My love affair with food had truly set off. There was no going back now. Returning home to Cape Town again I am spoilt with a hometown that has too many amazing things to list.

From special celebrations to spoiling yourself with a cupcake just because. Food has brought me a happiness I don't think I can truly describe. I can only show you my excitement through this platform.
